'n Woord van opregte dank en prys aan die Alpha Security span wat ons ondersteuning gebied het die aand van 26 Julie 2010 na 'n hijacking van my voertuig voor ons huis in Edleen.
Daar was onmiddelik voertuie na ons huis gestuur na ek Alpha Security in kennis gestel het van die hijacking.
Selfs nou nog patroleer Alpha Security die straat daagliks en kry ek 'n PATROL kaartjie in my posbus elke dag!

Baie dankie vir julle great diens en julle omgee - ek waardeer dit uit die diepte van my hart!

I received a phone call from our domestic servant shortly after 11:00a.m and was asked to come home quickly. I could hear by her voice that something was seriously wrong at home or with her or the baby of almost 6 months. I rushed out of the office to head home and on the way out one of my colleagues offered to call someone from the Chloorkop Trio task team we recently worked with at the SAPS to assist as they were so competent and determined to succeed in their quest against crime during a recent armed robbery that my colleague witnessed.

I called our domestic again on her cell phone & heard that 2 unknown black gents have jumped into my yard and were trying to peep through the main bedroom window and then sneaked along the side of the home towards the living room as they could not see inside. She could however see them clearly & upon my instruction locked themselves in the room & pressed the panic button. I told her to stay where she was with the baby & that I will personally fetch her.

Alpha armed response called me within seconds of receiving the panic signal from my home & reacted upon my request immediately.

Inspector / Detective Morne Cockcroft and his colleague Barbara Ferreira from the SAPS Chloorkop offices & in particular the TRIO task team also responded immediately and alerted some of their colleagues from Norkem park and Sebenza SAPD offices about the incident.

When I arrived home within around 3 to 4 minutes I was met with several police vehicles, Alpha security vehicles & armed officers everywhere scouting the area around and inside my yard for the suspects.

Morne quickly gathered everyone present and acquired accurate description of the identikits of the suspects from our domestic servant and promptly searched the area near our home for the suspects based on the description given. They returned within 4 to 5 minutes with the suspects apprehended nearby in a side street still wearing the exact same clothing as per the description.

They were promptly brought back to the scene of trespassing and attempted housebreaking at which point the domestic servant was able to confirm the identities of both the suspects.

The suspects were also positively identified by 2 or more officers on the scene as repeat offenders that had been arrested for house breaking and similar crimes before.

Fortunately, due to the joint interaction between the SAPS ( particular Morne & Barbara) & Alpha armed response nothing was stolen and no harm done to our home, domestic servant and our little baby.

I would like to encourage the public to take prompt action when a crime is witnessed & to provide the SAPS with correct & precise detail in order for them to act with success as they did for us today. Well done everyone & a great thanks from us as a family for your prompt & professional response and success in apprehending the suspects so quickly.

As for Alpha armed response, I will highly recommend this security company to anyone with the greatest of confidence as they truly look out for their clients and work closely with the SAPS to react promptly and defend their clients and related belongings with courage.

Their response on panic and or any form of distress signal from my home has never taken longer than 15 to 45 seconds , upon which I receive a phone call to confirm the security status at home. They always have vehicles strategically placed to enable them to reach their clients in rapid fashion.

Thanks to all involved today and well done, we are proud of all of you and really appreciate the work you do, which mostly goes unnoticed by the general public.
