Outdoor infrared passives purchased from various suppliers throughout the world were installed by Alpha Security Installations over the last couple of years.
Many of these gave us continuous problems such as false alarms, even though they were installed and set according to the manufacturer's specifications.
In turn these problems would increase our response times and negatively affected our operational costs.
As a result Alpha Security Installations has decided to discontinue the installation and use of the outdoor infrared passives and rather replace them with outdoor dual beams which have proven to be more efficient and cost effective.
Alpha Security will still maintain those outdoor infrared passives which are under guarantee.
